We are continually working to maintain and improve the accessibility and usability of our website and strive to follow applicable accessibility standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. WCAG provides three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
We review Mecox.com regularly against WCAG 2.2 Level AA, using automated testing, keyboard-only testing and manual review, and we correct the issues we find. Our most recent review was completed in October 2026. No website can guarantee that every page is free of accessibility issues at all times, so we treat accessibility as ongoing work, and we also take additional steps to improve the experience for users of assistive technologies.
These steps include providing descriptive alternative text for images where appropriate, including alt text that may go beyond minimum requirements when additional detail is helpful. We have also hidden certain decorative or redundant elements from screen readers where those elements may create confusion or unnecessary repetition for users relying on assistive technology.
Earlier in 2026, Mecox.com experienced technical difficulties related to its server environment. During this period, some accessibility-related features may have been temporarily affected. In response, Mecox purchased and implemented a new server environment, restored affected accessibility components, and continues to improve the performance, stability, and accessibility of the site.
In addition, we are designing and evaluating further accessibility enhancements intended to improve the digital shopping experience beyond baseline legal and technical requirements. These may include tools that provide clearer product summaries, richer product descriptions, improved audio quality, and other assistive features designed to help users better understand and navigate our products and services.
Our goal is not only to meet accessibility standards, but also to continue improving the quality, clarity, and usefulness of the experience for all users. We approach this work with a sincere and ongoing commitment to accessibility for all users.
While we work to maintain accessibility across Mecox.com, some third-party content, integrations, or newly added content may not always immediately reflect the same level of accessibility. We review and address accessibility issues as they are identified.
We may update this Accessibility Statement from time to time to reflect improvements to our website, changes in accessibility standards, or updates to our accessibility practices.
