Opening in 1996, Mecox’s founding location was originally in Southampton, NY, situated on a three acre property, made up of beautiful and extensive gardens throughout. These expansive grounds and charming rural architecture helped to guide the Mecox philosophy of taking inspiration from both the exterior and interior. Attracting many Hamptons and New York City based interior designers, our original location has evolved over the years, and in Fall 2022, Mecox Southampton relocated to Water Mill. Our new location is well known as the site of the old Bridge Club and still boasts lovely grounds for our outdoor furniture and garden ornaments.

When you travel to the Hamptons, you can pay a visit to Coopers Beach, which was voted the top attraction in the area. This scenic beach stretches 500 feet along the Atlantic shoreline, providing an incredible view of historic mansions in the distance. A few of the popular shops you can find in the Hamptons shopping district include reputable brands like J. Crew and Ralph Lauren, among a slew of other major retailers. Mecox is a worthy addition, supplying Long Islanders and visitors with the eclectic home furnishings and antique décor they need to elevate the look and feel of their home.
